About This Course

This course is designed for a person with no prior knowledge of how to use QuickBooks or someone familiar with the software who wants to learn new features and functionality of the latest version. You will be learning by hands on exercises utilizing the actual program loaded on Vision Center computers. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and interact with the instructor. What you will gain: At the end of this course, you will be able to:

* Set up a company.
* Work with lists.
* Set up inventory.
* Invoice for services.
* Process payments.
* Work with bank accounts.
* Enter and pay bills.
* Track sales.

Instructor: Pat Apicella, SCORE counselor, CPA and certified QuickBooks Instructor. Pat has worked as Program Director and consultant for small businesses and economically disadvantaged individuals. She teaches accounting, introduction to business, QuickBooks, accounting services and basic computer skills.
